High power high output subwoofers or bottoms for Clubs, DJs,
Live Venues, Touring Bands, Theaters, Churches, Temples, Cruise
Ships, Hotels, Concert Halls, Amusement Parks, Arenas . .
. wherever highest quality, low frequency sound and speaker
systems are required by audio contractors, professionals and
enthusiasts. Installed or mobile, every Smith Audio subwoofer
provides high power sound reproduction that is clearly superior
to well known subs priced much higher; and our woofers are
up to 30% smaller and lighter, with first quality drivers
and components custom matched to the most lightweight, compact
and durable speaker cabinets and enclosures available.
Our Pro-30
Series™ Subwoofers offer bone-shaking
performance in super-light, compact designs. Our cabinets
have been
so meticulously engineered that the single 18" driver
generates dual 18" performance, and requires less
drive wattage per dB. We take total control of the sound
waves
circulating within the cabinet, and pressure-drive them through
the front port, with high side and rear
cancellation. The results are unprecedented sub clarity, punch
and power, with no extraneous vibration or noise coming from
the cabinet sides or back. Pro-Lo Series
subwoofers perform equally well set
horizontally or vertically. And the exceptional high-pressure
sound advances to incomparable levels when matched with our Pro-30
Series
loudspeakers.

This cover
article about EXIT and Smith Audio originally
appeared in the December 2004 issue of Club Systems
International.
"Smith
started working... during the blueprint stage
of Exit's redesign. Smith's result
was a small 10-speaker system that's
more than the sum of its parts....
with no room lost on the floor..."
About
John
Smith, Audio Engineer: ""It
doesn't look like a lot," Smith admitted. But
once he flipped the switch at Exit, the crisp, well-defined
sound was proof of his vision .... giving the speaker
more sound in less space and cutting the club owner's
costs"
