Product
Warranty Smith Audio continually engages in product
research in order to provide our customers
with the finest products available. To
this end, we may sometimes integrate new
materials, methods and designs into existing
products without notice. We promise that
if the product you purchase differs in
any respect from the published description,
it will always equal or exceed the original
design specifications. The Smith Audio
warranty covers drivers for a period of
five years from the date of original purchase,
and covers cabinets (enclosures) for the
lifetime of the product, against malfunctions
due to defects in workmanship and materials.
Defects in or damage to the exterior appearance
of our products are specifically excluded
from this warranty, and in no event shall
Smith Audio be liable for incidental
or consequential damages. During the warranty
period, Smith Audio will remedy all
such defects without charge for parts or
labor upon the return of the unit together
with its original sales receipt or other
proof of purchase to Smith Audio or
to an Authorized Smith Audio Service
Facility. The following are not covered:
Damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse,
improper installation, product modification
or neglect;  damage occurring during shipment;
damage resulting from the performance of
repairs by someone not authorized by Smith Audio; claims based upon any misrepresentations
by the seller; any Smith Audio product
on which the serial number has been defaced,
modified or removed. Please be sure to
save the original shipping cartons because
a charge will be made if replacement cartons
are requested. This warranty applies only
to products sold through authorized Smith Audio dealers for use by customers
headquartered in the United States.
